As students, we have more to offer than we often think we do. Mentorship is a small contribution that can lead to a world of difference. Through sharing our experiences, knowledge, and advice we can bridge international gaps.

UBC Partners in Kind facilitates a mentorship program where a UBC student is a paired up with a high-school aged student from a country abroad. The mentor is trained based on a curriculum pieced together by UBC PiK and our partner international schools' counsellors.

The mentor and their mentee meet on a bi-weekly basis via Skype and work through the assigned curriculum together (of course each mentor is welcome to take it on in their own unique way).

The goal in mind is to build structured, yet meaningful relationship between students across the globe. We hope to inspire these young students to pursue various academic studies, be open to discovering new opportunities, and help shape their experiences to be positive ones.
